Michael Johns Hits The TV Screen - Videos

It's time to set those DVR's to catch all of Michael Johns appearances this week. The first will be aired on The CW Network according to a quote from their website. Michael Johns performed at the fashion event Rockin' The Runway on May 8th, and was the headline performer the following night. Hopefully, there will be some great video of those shows. You'll have two chances to catch that one. Here's the quote from their site:
The CW Network will televise the "Land Rover America's Polo Cup Television Special - Where the Elite Meet" live to tape, as well as produce a special Land Rover America's Polo Cup television show that will air on May 16th at 8 p.m., and May 17th at 10:30 a.m.
It seems Michael is one of TV Guides favorites too. They have him appearing on two separate nights as they do a week long special celebrating the countdown to this year's season finale, which runs May 16th through the 22nd. The first of his appearances will be aired on May 17th, when he's listed as one of American Idol's sexiest contestants ever. Here's the announcement and a short clip from that episode.
“Idol’s Sexiest Stars” premieres Sunday, May 17 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT

TV Guide Network turns up the heat on America’s most popular singing competition by counting down the Sexiest “American Idol” contestants of all time.

Then on May 18th, he's listed again as one of the most memorable American Idol contestants. Here's the re-cap, again from the TV Guide website:

“Idol Tonight” premieres Monday, May 18 from 8:00 -10:00 p.m. ET/PT
Hosted by Kimberly Caldwell and Justin Guarini with special correspondent Brandon Rogers, this two-hour preview counts down to the homestretch of “American Idol” with expert interviews, former finalists and exclusive never before seen “American Idol” audition footage. The episode also features an interview with this season's Top 3 finalists and revisits some of the most memorable “American Idol” finalists from the past including Jason Castro, Melinda Doolittle, Phil Stacey, Michael Johns, LaKisha Jones, Elliott Yamin and Haley Scarnato.
On May 21st, Michael returns to The Ellen Show for the first time this year. As you'll recall, he's appeared on her show a few times already. The first time was when he sang 'It's All Wrong - But It's Alright' just after he left Idol. Then he and Carly Smithson appeared last year to perform 'One' and 'Hold On'. He was even at the party to help celebrate her 50th birthday.

This time, Michael has his new single 'Heart On My Sleeve' available on iTunes and Amazon.com. It's the first single from his debut album Hold Back My Heart. The album is available for pre-order at Amazon.com!  If you haven't heard the single yet, tune into Ellen. You won't want to miss this one!

Parts of the following video are still very difficult to watch as they replay Michael's elimination from the show.  However, the performance of 'It's All Wrong, But It's Alright' is worth the wait.  I tend to agree with Ellen's assessment of Michael Johns and his future career.  Amazing, amazing, amazing how far he's come since then.

Rumor has it Michael might be co-hosting with Regis and Kelly at some time in the near future.  I'll bring that news as soon as it's confirmed.
